Peter C. Sanders, Orat. Director

Fr Peter is the director of New Pentecost Catholic Ministries and a member of the Congregation of the Oratory of St. Philip Neri located in Monterey, California. His teaching and healing ministry extends beyond Catholic circles into inter-faith dimensions, directing retreats, seminars and speaking at conferences. The ministry takes him to communities in North America, Mexico, Central and South America, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

Fr. Peter is a worship leader and musician who believes that the exercise of ministry– including that of teaching and healing– is most life-transforming when it takes place in the atmosphere of God-centered anointed worship. No matter what the venue, that truth is brought to life when he ministers in person.

Fr. Peter presents biblical truths of faith in a way that they can be directly applied to everyday life and in the case of leaders, to ministerial situations. Over 1,000 people in Northern California have been trained through the Ministry Institutes directed by Fr. Peter and NPCM. The basic principles for ministry are covered in those Institutes, together with other teachings form the book entitled Healing in the Spirit of Jesus: a practical guide to the ministry. Other teachings include the areas of the Character of Christ, Excellence in the Charismatic Gifts, Intercessory Prayer, Spiritual Warfare and much more. Besides his priestly studies, Fr. Peter holds graduate degrees in Religious Education, Counseling Psychology, and Sacred Theology.
