Therese M. Catalano, M.Div. is the Pastoral Coordinator of New Pentecost Catholic Ministries. As such, she is responsible for organizing and training the various types of pastoral service that NPCM offers at events. Her special areas of interest are inner healing, counseling, intercessory prayer, and spiritual teaching that she exercises at NPCM events as well as the Holy Spirit Center in Monterey. Therese's project is to start and conduct a Center for Healing at the Holy Spirit Center, focusing on the use of solid Christian psychological skills used in harmony with the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Therese received her training in education at California State University Chico and subsequently worked in education for 22 years as a teacher both in secular and in Catholic School settings. She has conducted Religious Education and frequently given teachings in adult settings on a variety of spiritual, Biblical and theological topics. In 2010 she completed her Masters of Divinity degree from the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology where she concentrated in Pastoral Ministry as well as Holy Scripture and Theology. She is a member of the Oratorian family in Monterey where she is a consecrated single woman. She has been a member of New Pentecost Catholic Ministries since 2005. Therese's ministry as a spiritual leader has taken her to places over the U.S. as well as Italy and the Middle East.
